    Vintage 1940s ? 1950s?  Elegant Formal Black "Batwing" Bowtie & an Embossed Satin Bowtie Evening Wear in old DEWENTER Box, Lafayette, Indiana ...................Box 21: dewenter
    This item has a 3 day Shipping/Handling time. When possible, it will ship earlier.
    Two different styles of formal wear for men, both Bowties. The pre-shaped one has embossed Satin fabric and was probably adjustable, but the elastic has little to no "give" at this time. It is 15" around now, but could be extended wider. The long one needs to be styled -34" total length-(I have no clue) when putting on to wear, and is a woven fabric. No damage to either of the bowties. The original box is very rare, from the "Dewenter's " high end clothing store in Lafayette, Indiana. . This store was in existence from the very early 1900s (I found ads from 1906) and although they are long gone now, the building still exists.
